I have a question regarding automatic transmissions, I went to school for my CDL back in 2003 and did my road test on a 9 speed manual transmission truck. But every company I've been with so far has had automatic transmission trucks. I feel more comfortable driving automatic transmission trucks than manual transmission truck. My question is what trucking companies use automatic transmission trucks? Thanks in advanced.

I have backed an autoshift under just about every situation. Works like a dream.

Yup, you just have to be easy on the fuel and cover the brake. The only problem I have had with them is hooking to a 5th wheel, but I developed a workaround. I completely stop the truck when the 5th wheel slids under the apron, then ride the brake until I catch the kingpin. Works like a boss.

Dude relax. The problem is that everyone of you newbies comes on here and asks the exact same questions without doing a search of the forum for what you want to ask. It gets really old answering the same questions over and over. Of course with your attitude you probably know everything there is to know anyway so why bother asking a question.

It doesn't bother me to answer it at all, which is exactly why I answered it. Those threads will contain the names of the companies which run autos, and there'll likely be a few mentioned in there which would likely escape drivers who don't work for them. Have you even bothered to use the search function, like I've suggested now three times already? If not, then you've definitely got no excuse for getting a stick up the rectum. I've told you where to find what you're looking for. What the hell else do you want? Even if not done in the most tactful fashion, I pointed you to where you can find precisely what you're looking for. Don't sit and whine about your questions not being answered if you're going to ignore the answers.
