A pivotal point in my life I need answers and opinions.

I found a nationwide school here thats 10 minutes from my house and would give me the refresher for half the amount of 160 hrs of training. I imagine SNI is going to have a different place in mind and will pay for it I guess? The more driving practice I can do then the better.

 

I love aviation and had some flight training in college 1995-97 but never earned my cert which is a different story. If I had money I'd go right back to flight training.I looked into non physical no degree aviation fields due to no degree and arthritis probably going to get worse by the time I'm in my 60's. I just figure I won't be able to do 8 hours straight of physical work and don't have money for any type of degree program. I looked into flight dispatching and found out that it's oversaturated and a waste of time and money. Ramper is too physical now. The best thing I found if I don't go back to trucking pays the same as retail but works directly with aircraft and pilot operations as a customer service rep at a FBO. I've also thought about city bus but would much rather my cargo doesn't talk or try to end someone like happened here two months ago.

 

I'm thinking I should definitely do both refreshers unless the one by my house counts for them then I'll do one. I just needed more practice and would like to know what you think about if I want more from SNI after orientation. Should I be more assertive about getting more practice/training if I feel I need it after refresher and orientation this second time around? They seem irritated when asked by other new hires last time so I just figured this is it I should just hit the road solo and hope for the best.

 

I was doing dry van regional OTR eastern 37 and want to go back to that.
