1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

6 months OTR experience in 2013 but quit due to being in the poor house. 6 months shuttle experience in 2015-2016 for a temp company working out of Hazleton, PA. Been doing yard work 3.5 years.

Didn't know small good paying companies existed until recently.

ZERO tickets. Clean!!!! In fact no criminal record period (former cop from Texas)!!

Last accident in January of 2013 - not a fault and unpreventable. Homeboy high on drugs clipped driver side steer tire in the middle of a turn thinking he'd make it. Took a nice little ride with the police in the end.

Looking for OTR (home weekly) regional or local work out of the Poconos in Pennsylvania

Looking for company with automatic trucks(only drove manual for 4 weeks in school) that'll accommodate my dog and I(Dog is clean and well behaved. Doesn't tear stuff up). Hoping to take home $900 or higher a week after taxes.

No NYC, please. No tanker or haz mat either (did that OTR and it was an absolute pain).

If job is located more than 30 minutes away from albrightsville, PA then would prefer regional home on weekends. Let's see what's good. =)

Yeah they're 10 speed though. They ditched the Volvos for whatever reason. Looking at Western express at the mo but still open.

Yeah that's what I'm hearing too. Trying to find a place to go where I'm home once a week even if for 24 hours. I heard abilene is big on otr. We'llv see by the end of May(My 1 year anniversary with my current company).

I checked out western express. They seem decent. Abilene sounds better though. I just find the driver-facing cameras to be a real pet-peeve.

Nah doing yard work. I left service transport years ago because it put me in the poor house and until recently thought all trucking companies were that way. Hence my recent join date. Now I'm searching. If I go back the nice thing is my backing ability is probably going to blow everyone else else out of the water LOL.

Me, dog, automatic, 3000+ miles a week and hopefully home once a week or home every two weeks for 48 hours on the weekend. I want to clear $800 takehome after tax.Not sure if northeast regional would do that. Absolutely don't mind running hard at all, but a day a week would be nice. Still pretty sold on Abilene. I'll probably give them a call the first of May.

You can make that and be home every day. Especially in your area. I live in the area as well.
