Ok so here is a run down of what I learned today.
    90% Volvo fleet iShift
    10% Prostars 10spd
    APU and inverter
    Payscale for me
    37 CPM base loaded miles
    10cpm increase < 175 miles
    .075 CPM increase 176 to 300
    .05 CPM increase 301 to 600

    35cpm empty.

    1500 sign on bonus

    550 orientation pay

I will need to get my TWIC card asap in order to get more miles they reimburse the fee. Pre Enrolled today online and plan to work with dispatcher after first paycheck to get a weekday home to go get it...

I think that is it tomorrow we do alot of paperwork

So learned today that local drivers do slip seat with opposing shift also forced per diem... Free dental and vision

Medical seems good and not to expensive

Thanksfully I am regional so no slip seating

I can't believe there are still companies that pay a different mileage rate per loaded and empty mileage. It was pretty prevalent in the 90's.

I work for one that does it. Thankfully it's very rare for me to run empty.

I'd pass on that offer. It doesn't pay enough.

Aren't their local guys paid by the hour? Do you know what kind of hours they get? I've seen them coming out of Jersey and New York before. Seriously considering going there in a few months.

oh and how much is the insurance per week? How long was orientation?

    Aradrox Thanks this.
