Set vehicle speed at 65 ,set driver rewards speed at 99
And set rewards at some stupid low threshold so it's always met.....
Easy ......![]()
A step closer to speed limiters

Yeah exactly ... that's why they don't check very often anymore, instead they get you with the radar gun. So only use when needed and after a real good look lol

...or do some research on what the various pins do on the diagnostic port where they'll be plugging into. Relocate the ACTUAL port to some hidden location known only to you (or just eliminate it altogether), and then wire up the OEM plug to fry whatever device gets plugged in...whether 12V/20 amp circuits to pins expecting low voltage/low amps, capacitors for extra punch...heck, even 120V AC to from the inverter. Basically find out what pins are being read, and use them to overpower and fry the scanner with far more juice than it was ever meant to have run through it.
Wouldn't really be all that difficult to do...KB3MMX, Straight Stacks and AModelCat Thank this. -
That's been tried, you end up with a ticket for not proving you are incapable of exceeding 65 and an angry inspector.
Straight Stacks Thanks this. -
That Aussie newscaster in the video is one fine looking woman. I bet she has a few naughty outfits in her closet

I have already preempted this ruling several months ago. My S60 is set at the speed limiter for 65, but thru more than the driver reward settings, I can run 20 mph over. So anyone can mess with the driver reward stuff all they want, it will still go over the limiter by 20 mph. And all it will ever show to anyone dumping the ECM is that everything is set to 65. I normally just run about 62-65, but I am not going to get hung up in one of those stupid turtle races where trucks are beside each other for 20 miles. When it is time to pass, I am going to pass quickly. And I have enough sense if some idiot wants to try and pass doing 1/2 mph faster than me, to drop the cruise a notch or two, let him get on around, and then reset to what I was doing. Those morons who are not going to get off the governor unless someone hits them with a baseball bat, need exactly that.

Rocks and No names left Thank this. -
The look on buddy's face as his scanner bursts into flames in his hands would be priceless. Most of the datalink ports use Deutsche pins so they're fairly easy to get a hold of.

I'm thinking hide the real data port as previously posted. Wire in dummy ecm with appropriate limits set. There you go
