Well, of course! But the title is "typical". :biggrin_25525:

Watch it! If you hit them, you will more than likely be the one who ends up in jail, no matter who is at fault. Just sayin.

ha you know i got to thinking, when you pull into a yard the guy on the forklift probably isnt making minimum wage so he's a lot happier. i know when i was at a lumber yard and flatbedders came in there was never animosity or anything like that it was just "hey hows it goin man lets get you unloaded" i was thinking about the places i go to delivering milk and the receivers and clerks are a lot of the times miserable as hell, usually they arent jerks to me probably because i scare the crap out of them with my size and what not but either way i get a long with them. if i get them pissed off i usually dont give a crap i just say something wise like "yup its my fault and i accept responsibility for my inept processing skills i'm a product of society" and by then they usually realize i dont care and i'm just patronizing them.

when i get OTR i plan on doing flatbed, more money, more skill, more options of stuff you can haul. i loved doing it when i was at a lumber yard, nothing like securing up a load and taking pride in that.

I'll stick with LTL, where I get paid >$80K/yr as a company driver to run 100% safe and legal and be back at the yard every night. :biggrin_25522:

I just put together that post from my days as a younger driver. Been there, done that, not doing it ever again. :biggrin_25513:

I go to WM dc's all the time and never have had a problem, and usually out of there in 2 or 3 hours, sometimes less.
