Many drivers have done this and I have found all of them informative and entertaining. I will be documenting my life as a driver starting from day one of CDL school.

I have created a youtube channel and would like to invite you all to view it for both the sake of entertainment, as well as welcome your learned advice as I enter into this very new chapter of my life both personally and professionally.

    Thanks!

Set up the camera so we can see the ###### looking hood on the big plastic Junkliner owned by whatever training company you go with.

Forgive me ignorance... What does that mean? I've finished the classroom portion. When I return a week from tomorrow I then spend 2 weeks on the range.

I'm not sure how liberal they will let me be with filming, but are you asking for a view of the truck from the inside?

    Sorry :(

Just don't run any redlights , have a car run into the side of your truck , and put it on YouTube like one idiot did . The light can be seen changing to red before he enters the intersection .

Good stuff, devil. Keep it up. It'll be fun for you to look back after a few years to see where you started. You would be shocked at how many other former RE professionals you'll meet behind the wheel.

I see in your video it says (regarding driving a taxi) "The job had potential to be extremely enjoyable, but is regrettably governed by the most corrupt government authorities in the world".

Youre gonna love the DOT officers. They are always friendly and usually only pull you over to tell you how good you are driving and to bring you a fresh cup of coffee.:biggrin_25525:

OK Deviltalk just watched your first video. Listened to the conversation with your uncle and everything. I gotta say, if it comes down to Swift and Werner, go to Swift. I have never worked for either, but from what I have read on here, and seen on the road, Swift would definitely be my choice.

I wouldnt mess with Covenant or CRST by the way. And dont let them talk you into running teams if you dont want to. Running teams is AWFUL in my opinion, but Im not really a people person.

Either way, Ill be rooting for you.

    Injun, does Swift run teams?
