The megas didn't want to pay for my cdl because of that ticket so I just got it on my own, but now I don't know where to apply. There has to be at least one company willing to hire me right? I'm from New Mexico but I'm willing to work anywhere in the country, I don't even care about the pay at this point, I just want to get my foot in the door

    Have you tried western express?
Post your location and @Chinatown will be along later to help.

    Boondock Thanks this.

    Probably someone will hire you.

Just to make sure you get off on the right foot when you go for an interview...

    Bring tacos.

    Seriously.

Bring a vegan taco to, just to be safe. All kinds of weirdos and wackadoos out there these days.

On a more serious note, as @062 said...Chinatown will get you squared away.

Whatever he tells you to do, do. And bring tacos.

    Sirscrapntruckalot - I to like tacos. - @Opus (I needed a quote, it fit)

I think your best bet are the self insured companies.

It's just one ticket, albeit a whopper of a ticket, but just one ticket nonetheless.

I would start with Mesilla Valley Transport and see what they say.

Western Express should be a last resort as it employs those with criminal records. As Mark from Trucking Answers said, "You have to begin your trucking career somewhere, but you don't have to start in a garbage can."

There's a job for everyone and this was Pre CDL but you’re still going to have to start towards the bottom and work your way up

Just don’t get any more. Especially in a truck or especially especially especially in a construction zone

    flood and Boondock Thank this.

And please cut the speed down, 30 over is a big deal in a car .....but you absolutely can't be speeding in a big truck....

30 over is reckless driving. Trucking company insurance looks at reckless driving more harshly than speeding.
Where are you in New Mexico?

Home - Refrigerated trucks at Wild West Express in Las ...
The website has 3 yrs. experience required, but the most recent ad says hiring new cdl school grads.
I recommend, do not call. Submit the online application from the website. Do not call first.
