I'm looking for OTR or Regional. I've done 8 months OTR from the Chicago, IL area up to MN., down to TX., and up to PA. Driving full round trips. Reefer 99% of the time and dry van the rest. (Kohls department store was dry van, and reefer for Walmart/Nestle foods.) 5 months doing regional inter-modal work. WI, MI, IN, IL, and IA.
Bad owner for the first job. Neglected to pay me. Was at .40 cents a mile. Made $1008.00 after taxes. Would like that again. Current owner is a really nice guy. Only his equipment is unreliable. Have been doing 3 day weeks for the past month and a half. Paid per haul. Roughly make 800 a week on 1099.
What I'm looking for is either regional or otr. 5 days out and 2 days off. At the very least .40 cents a mile and 2500 to 3000 miles a week. Looking to make a grand a week after taxes. Yes I can read a map and can do paper logs. I get asked that a lot. I'm currently in the Joliet, IL. area. I'm 31 and a non-smoker. You can leave a message for me on here that I will be checking.
So with that said:
.40 cents per mile at the least.
2500 - 3000 miles a week.
5 days on 2 days off. Prefer the weekends off.
Newer Reliable equipment as well.
Non-Inter-modal (Im done with this stress)

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
