Fair enough. Always well groomed, just haven’t been completely shaven in many years.

That’s where I’d like to be hours-wise. But I don’t think the guys here in Ga get off so easy. Even now doing local flatbed we’re pushing that 70hr clock fairly consistently. The LTL guys are always looking overworked!

Heavy season for most LTL is summer til September. After September things slow down so might as well get you money while the company gives you the hours.

Well, interview went well. Seemed like a nice guy. No job offer yet, have to schedule drug check and a physical assessment. Good health benefits and decent 401k from what I was hearing and a nice starting rate and top rate. Comparable to other LTL companies in the area. My interviewer started as a driver with AAA Cooper almost 30 years ago. Keeping my fingers crossed

Can you tell me who the health insurance provider is and how much it cost for driver & spouse? I'm guessing it's BCBS AL but I'm probably wrong. I applied for a solo linehaul slot a couple of weeks ago.

Matt1924, Lonesome and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

It’s BCBS but he didn’t go into detail on premiums. He did mention a 1500 deductible for single plan though. I believe I saw some post somewhere that said about 60 a week for fam on the low side, could be mistaken though

It’s BCBS of Alabama and for a family it’s $55 a week. The deductible for a family is $3,350
