Not really I went to work for Rocor and after spending the first day waiting for them to battle it out over who going to pay for repairs had enough of them and took the truck to the terminal and went home. I sent the DM know I was coming to Atlanta to turn the truck in and he sent a load assignment anyway. I went to Atlanta and turned in the truck and went home as I said. But I was better off. After waiting all day, the truck speedometer did not work, kneedle bounce between 40 and 80.

After quiting under a load I had no problems getting jobs

Yea, you know you messed up! you been driving for five years! I always tell rookies, not you but rookies that if they lie to you, anything goes wrong and you made your mind to quit? give them their two weeks notice and eat the bad stuff for the time being. Quitting under dispatch to me is even worst than truck abandonment because at least in abandonment, they have to pick the truck only and dispatch quitting, they don't get paid and they might lose an account!

    Guys.

Simply write DAC a letter stating that they are no longer allowed to collect and disclose any further information about you.

They are a private company subject to state privacy laws.

When an employer questions the "withdrawl of consent" simply tell them you had issues with identity theft and needed to tie up loose ends.

DAC only exists because drivers allow it to.

Good companies don't use the dac. Once you've got your experience with those junk outfits you can take your truck to your favorite vacation spot then sell it to someone for $2500. Get a bottle of liquor and stare at the the ocean for a few days, rent a car then go get a real job where you just drop and hook for twice the money.
