Well I thank everyone. They told me its local 13.50hr straight time well then it switched to percentage.. the load was over weight on the axles 79500gross with 37500 on my axles which is illegal they said take it its legal and were rude. So I took it to the shop.

79,500 gross is legal . What do you mean 37500 "on your axles " ?
You can't use the illegal to drive excuse if you were willing to drive it to the terminal .

I've never quit under dispatch as to why I did'nt know that's almost as bad as abandonment. So Generation follower, when the chips don't fall your way are you always going to be a quitter and under a load none the less?If you wanna make it in this business don't just up and quit like this ,wait till the trk is at the terminal and not under a load.Better yet wait till you're with a company a few months then quit, not after only a few days.Companies that don't use dac will question why did you quit so sounds like you're pretty much screwed.

what kind of trailer axle was it. spread or tandem. cuz that kind of weight sounds like you were pulling a spread. to which the weight can go up to 40,000. so yes that load is legal.

your trailer weighed 37.500 so i'm guessing your drives came in around 31,000. those weight numbers are typical of flatbed type loads. most loads are heavy on the trailer.

the comment about safer on the scale cracked me up though. :biggrin_2559:

It wasn't the load only it was being hung up on, called off the hook, being on percentage when I was hired hourly, and the load.

    allrighty then. LOL.

    forgot about grain trailers.

are those trailers compartment trailers? no way to slam on brakes to shift weight forward? although yours was on the extreme side.

Anybody that has hand shoveled grain from one compartment to another at an Illinois scale because 1 axle was 400 lbs. over will tell you slamming on the brakes to shift weight forward or backward won't always work .
