ABF Freight Automatic?

Yup. I don't know where this misconception that linehaul and local jobs are all 8 hour days lol. I drove for ups (package) and everyone on here wants to get out of otr and go work there so they don't have to live in the truck anymore. You work 14 hour days there a lot of the time, I have worked over 14 and had to punch out on road, we had to get language in our contract to try to limit forced overtime lol. I know the guys at abf, estes, yrc, sefl, etc bust their ###' just as hard. Home every night....for 8 hours lol.

 

I'll take a 13 speed over a A/S any day of the year. Hate autos.

I as well, but it’s not a reality for many places, especially in LTL so just have to deal with it.

Happy to take in cash in an auto vs. beg for scraps going OTR with a 13 speed.

 

Yes abf has a lot of autos. Pay is pretty good at abf 63 cents a mile and 26 and some change an hour line haul can make over 100 a year city can make 90 a year

 

Linehaul is all autos.
