Anyone have any input. They are hiring locally in Dallas. I heard they were union ,was thinking about applying and working local and then try to get on a linehaul.

Go for it. Been around a long time. May have to start as a casual and work sporadic schedule. Unions are great until economy tanks then you sit and sit and sit unless you have 10-15 yrs. But DLS economy is doing OK now so would be a good time to get in.
