ABF freight

I worked in a rail terminal, closed shop, guys with 30+ couldn't hold the extra board in winter. That's why I'm asking, thank you.

 

State of NY actually still has Corporations that require a Union Card to be on the premises. Chicago that I know of does not. If one is seeking a Union job with one of the highest paying truck companies , they may want to consider relocating to NY , especially near the city where if one Area in this country lays off less than all the others I guessing it be NYC. and the 5 boroughs.

 

I used to work the dock at yellow in Chicago ridge, your your about that stuff....

The downside about ABF with the new contract is the vacation deal for the first few years...

And to the OP I would assume that as soon as a full time position opens up, it will be offered to current part timers before anyone else ...

A woman ... That I just couldn't pass on , it so happened she was having a small house built in N.E.KY , back in 2001 met her at Oberlin College of the Arts , Oberlin OH by 2002 we were a team driving , by 2003 she got out of it , but we still stayed together , and we married in 2006.

Blackhawks 1st , Cardinals 2nd and Bear 3rd , only because I never have been great big into football , and not at all in to BBall. At 47 I couldn't stand the cubs after winning 96 games and then trading Dero for Bradley.
That was the 46 yrs deal breaker for me I served my walking papers next day. and 2010 started watching the Cards , all they did was erased a 10 games deficit on the Wild Cards last month and went on to win the World series .... That was it , no more cubbies.
