The difference is at ABF (and most LTLs) you have to start at the bottom, it sounds like you wanted all the gravy without paying your dues. The good old boys network? If you want to find out what's what go talk to your steward, if the company is abusing you he can put a stop to it. I find it hard to believe that getting paid for everything you do is so horrible, you could quit and go drive for one of those otr megas and get shorted on miles and your time is always free, that would teach them not to screw with you.
