Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

OK, I give up, did a Google search and everything. Where is this "mountain top" a few of you have referred to?. Pretty sure I have never been anywhere named as such in my short time here.

 

Mountain Top, PA. Usually Gatorade loads go there. I-81 north to I-80 east to the first exit. North about 8 miles to industrial park

And that 8 miles is up a pretty good sized hill grossing 79000. So much fun.

 

Does anyone have pictures or videos of their trucks , terminals , shippers / receivers . anything related to Abilene ?

 

Ok, someone smarter than me, and with more 8/2 experience, explain this to this simple mind...

I burned all but six minutes of my clock prior to SB.... the blonde is in Richmond and I am an hour north of town.... was going to split my 10 and get a couple hours back after 8 and go have dinner with her...

But after 8 I only got my 6 minutes back.

I was expecting the time prior to my last 30 minute break to return.... so I drove like 6 hours after my 30 so was expecting 5 hours back making the time before and after my 8 to equal 11 hours.... take my 2 and get the 6 back so that all hours "around" my 8 and my 2 to equal 11s.... at least that's how one video explained it.

But instead I get only SIX MUNITES???

Eight hours in the sleeper only gives you unused drive time back. If you only have six minutes drive time left that's all you get back.

 

This hit home for me. I'm not posting this as a recruitment video, which it is. But listen to this guy rip the heart out from my chest.
