Got a good over the weekend load. Yay!!! Got hooked up and found a 6-7 inch gash on the outer sidewall of my right rear inner drive tire while doing my inspection. So, unhooked, found gashes on the inner sidewall of the outer tire as well. I guess I hit something in the road. Had 2 new to me drives put on and an air leak fixed. Just had my truck washed this morning so that now dirty rim is really bugging me. Before I start out tomorrow, I'm going to have to take care of that!

 

See, he probably wasn't aware of your issues and once he looked into it, he called and talked WITH you about the best solution. Now you can take this experience, once the little bit of sting has gone, and help better prepare students for this crazy lifestyle. You can even point them in the direction of this forum or even this thread. Just tell them to be careful of the bs-ers!
