Tried PFJ "Premium" and "Enhanced" WiFi...

Waste of Money... 2.x Meg down and less than .5 up... last night was even slower.

Thinking an unlimited package from T-Mobile is in my near future.

I haven't used their junk wifi in 3 years. I don't know what's worse, PFJ, Loves or AOL dial up back from 1997.

I was sitting overnight at a Pilot and had been reading how much they "improved" the quality of their wifi, blah, blah, blah...

So I thought I would try it for the night/morning.

AOL Dial Up give PFJ a run for their money!!!

So I tried it... check that off my ol' bucket list.
(and scratch it off the wireless options too)

Sitting here taking a 34 at a Petro just outside of Chapel Hill. I'm in the back of the cab, surfing the Internet and drinking coffee. When alla the sudden, my truck starts rocking back and forth.

Throw on my shoes, grab my tire thumper, and hop out of the cab to see who is messing with my truck. Nobody around. Nobody near me. No trucks on either side for several parking spaces. Shrug and get back in the cab.

Rocking continues unabated. I'm driving a reefer. Reefer is set to -10F. The bill of lading SAYS it's all skinless boneless chicken breasts back there, but I know what's REALLY going on...

Sleep deprivation is a serious part of this business.

I actually got 7.5 hours last night, which is a phenomenal amount of sleep for me. Usually I'm lucky to get 5.

I did eventually figure out that it's the wind making my truck shake. Which isn't nearly as exciting, but on the other hand does solve the mystery of why I'd be delivering a load of live aliens to McClane Food Distribution Services.
