Yes, I am Bill and I am here to help you. What seems to be the issue? Ah yes, I understand your frustration and will be able to correct that issue for you. ***flipping thru pages*** Have you tried...Yes? Well, have you done? Yes? Did it fix it?
Me: No, you moron. If it did, why would I call you?

How many times have we done Hill loads where the people don't even have a clue we're coming?

Got a nice little assignment yesterday that works out to be almost 2000 miles total start to finish. Had to run from Wytheville to South Carolina to pick up a bunch of glass to take to Chicago. Then I have to return the racks (or return some other racks brought in a previous delivery) back to the glass factory.
Anybody know anything about this? Says I'm supposed to bring back 15 racks Or Else(tm) when I make the return trip.Lonesome Thanks this. -
Just delivered one this morning. luckily it was 2 small cases and they had room to store them.

Never had that one before but any load with your back haul already planned before you even start is sweet.
I'm heading further into the great frozen NE and will be able to cross another state off my list.MidWest_MacDaddy and ExtremeUnction Thank this. -
Sounds like rc might be on my run. 5 trucks to a tiny store, so far only electricians are here i think. So now we are all just sitting here waiting.

This is where I will be backing into tonight circa 8:00pm Chicago time:

Dock there on the right, just before the black car. I have been told to approach from the north so that the dock is on my left side.
This will be my first urban delivery since getting out of training. I'm a little nervous.Lonesome Thanks this. -
Just try to make sure that you block as much of that road as you possibly can while you're backing, that way no one can try to squeeze by you. I used to have to back into a grocery store off of a 4 lane road with a center turn lane. Use your 4 ways and take all the room and time you need. Keep a close eye on your passenger mirrors while backing.

I made one of those drops... maybe two... from that puckup site to western Tennessee... fairly easy except for the back was into a building... the turn around time is not bad as they might unload you and reload you in one shot.
As was mentioned, you are basically preplanned for your return trip before you leave which makes it really nice!!!
