Save me one of those south Florida loads, I am thinking of taking hometime down there in the next month or two.

I am hoping to break 100k on my truck before the new year, but then I only got it the middle of May and I do all the driving...even the night mileage.:D

I reset the trip counter when I first got it, that's how I track the miles I have done.

That GPS in the QC is CoPilot and I have similar issues with the stand alone app of CoPilot too... it loves to route me through ATL instead of around ATL so I don't trust it for the last mile of any town.

Finally got rolling yesterday at 1 pm. Too much water had gotten in the brake drums when I was stuck on the ice Saturday and just kept refreezing. Plus ice in my air lines had the whole dang thing just locked up. A bit of a defrost and a going over to make sure all was ok and I was boogie footing down the road. Now the next shoe drops. I get thru Charleston and get a phone call that I need to stop and rescue a BH load. So, the only place around me (since I was just getting to the WV tpk) was the Beckley svc plaza. So there I went and waited--for 5 hours--for they guy to pick the load up in groveport and get it to me. So, instead of being in Richmond at 11 pm, here I am just getting to Oilville at 3 am. At least I did get a couple hours of shut eye while I was waiting. And they put an extra stop on the darn thing which no one knew about so I have to get it to the yard asap after getting unloaded. Not sure how that's going to work since I had to use my exception to get here and they aren't due until 5 am.

These last couple of months have just not been good to me. I cannot wait to get home for much needed time away from here.

We aren't allowed to use the exception anymore. Don't know if anyone told you are not. Communication is not a strong point around here.

Nope, they sure haven't. But, in reality, it's not supposed to be used for that purpose anyway. But, 20 minutes and a BH load. I'll take the hit from safety if I have to, but dispatch dropped the ball for a major customer and it fell to me to get it there. That is the first time I've used my exception in probably 2 1/2 years so maybe they'll be nice about it.

I've heard rumors but it still works in my truck.

I didn't say it wouldn't work, I said we are not allowed to use it anymore. Call Scott in safety if you have any questions.
