Eventually graduation will not mean anything. It will be too common and no longer an accomplishment.

When I was in school, graduation from the 6th, 8th, and 12th grade meant something. Then again, my graduation from CDL school meant a whole lot as well. For my older sis, it was those grades, then her AA, BA, and MA degree. My dad would be proud if she got her doctorates but then again shes not interested at the moment. There was no congrats on your first house or car. It was a pat on the back from my dad. I say my dad as he raised me and partially my sister as our adopted mom passed when I was 8 and sis was 16.

When I went to school, the only graduation ceremony was from high school. There was no kindergarten, 6th or 8th grade graduations. You just moved on to the next grade/school building...

When I was in a school everyone made sure I graduated, everyone, and I mean everyone wanted me out of their sight no matter what it took.

Yup...same here. And even then I didn't graduate from HS "### laude".

It was more like "go quietly".....

Just an FYI anytime someone runs out of hours near Chambersburg, take exit 16 (US 30) and head towards Gettysburg(east) Walmart is about a mile I81. On the right. They have parking for trucks. So does Burger King. If I'm home you can message me and get out of the truck for a minute.
