I’d be telling someone that until the company pays for my phone they can have their tracking software.

If you have a Kenworth truck and they take you into Kenworth of "Spark" you will be there for day's... They have no parking, and are very busy.

You cannot mix different types, especially the red and green. They will gel and clog the system. You can add water, better than calling breakdown ...

Has anyone ever picked up a new hire to bring to Richmond?. Just wondering if there is extra stop and mileage pay same as any other "pickup".

You’re nothing more than a chauffeur. They will pay for the miles. The only way you might get stopoff pay is if you put him in the trailer.

No, but I've ferried my fellow Abilene drivers to their new truck twice before after their old trucks broke down. Got paid for all miles both times. Second time I had to call and straighten it out with payroll, though. But they did pay me.

    Redtwin Thanks this.

Is it considered an unsecured load if he’s not tied to the wall? :biggrin_25523:

Just picked up a trailer here on the yard with forklift parts going to Kentucky. The tandems were slid all the way back, which means that whoever brought this trailer to the yard drove all the way from Chesapeake to Richmond with the tandems slid back.

In other news, the fact that we have been purchased by Knight has not made us any better able to afford toilet paper. I spent most of Sunday and yesterday here on the yard due to an emergency dentist appointment, and not a single one of the men's restrooms on site have toilet paper. I had to go down to the Waffle House to drop a deuce.
