Soooo...
Did everyone get the Trailer Condition Report on every trailer memo? That will be fun trying to find which trailers need work to be done on them with every driver reporting every time we touch something... lol

I got a snark-asm text once from Buck because a trl I dropped supposedly had an expired inspection and a flat tire. Let’s just say it had neither and I could prove it since I was standing right next to the driver at the trl shop when he went to report both-and was told it had neither. The bill box cover was missing, though.
This is the text I got:
ABL. 7284 was dropped loaded on the yard from Givens today with a flat tire and expired inspection sticker. Please make sure you’re doing a thorough inspection so that these issues are found and written up to be repaired in the shop.
Thanks,
This was my response:
1. The inspection IS NOT BAD. It was inspected 10/18. The mechanics at our trailer shop even said the inspection is good.
2. There WAS NO FLAT TIRE. The other driver said there was a nail in the tire which neither I nor the mechanics at our trailer shop saw.
3. The only issue with this trailer is that the cover is missing off the bill box.
4. I do a thorough and complete inspection of EVERY trailer I pull because I have had issues before as an OTR driver and don’t want to leave it for the next driver. I’m pretty conscientious that way.
How do I know these two issues are not true? I walked over to apologize to the driver for being late as I had to sit on the side of the road for 2.5 hours today with an air line issue. This was while he was at our trailer shop. So please check all the facts before you fly off the handle.
Oh, and perhaps sign your name to your text so I know who is texting me.
Thanks. -
