What? Seriously? The last two times I touched that Yard it seemed like they were crowding us more and more in our little area... guess someone else needed that space more than us.

wonder if we will find another in the area

or I wonder if we will begin to use Knight/Swift Yards instead of paying to use the Yards of other companies.

    Silverdriver Thanks this.

The “Irving, Texas” drop yard also is impossible to find a spot for your trailer. The last 2 times I was there 2 different companies where parking in our designated area.:(

Renting out space in drop yards to other companies is part of the Knight business model.

Please be more respectful of flashing lights, lighted arms and bells going off. 03B1166E-E21D-4DF5-AA85-8D8887971E63.jpeg

Oh My... hoping no one was hurt.
Truck is upright so the Driver is ok.
    What was in that trailer?

Happened up in Rockland County NY. Just over the Tappan Zee Bridge. I’m guessing between the HP ink, truck, trailer, crossing arms and damage to the train, at least $500K. No raise this year.

Truck looks like it may have escaped the worst... maybe jacked up the wing?

but ya, ain’t going to be cheap

so, I’m guessing we have an opening for a Driver here?

Came off hometime and got sent to quaker in Tacoma for live load broker load. Arrived at 1330 for 1400 appt, didn't start loading me til 1430 and didn't get out til 1830.....live unload in Boise tomorrow night 1230 am at Winco foods, yeah Ill prob be taking a break in the dock since lumper unload at a grocery warehouse. Swapping trucks out with that team before though when I get to Boise. Days like this I miss being an owner operator where I always made sure my appts were in the morning and no grocery loads unless the appts were in the morning, lol!
