We are sitting in Wytheville. That reefer trailer I went and rescued had to give me one last kick in my arse yesterday before I got it back to Richmond. All our reefers have roll up doors, this one decides to fall off the track as I go to roll it down. So I had to call road service to come out and secure it with straps for the 175 mile trip back to Richmond. I was never so happy to get rid of a trailer like I was yesterday.
I got to Richmond, picked up my trainee Kellan, hooked to a trailer and brought it back here to our Wytheville yard. I'm now waiting on load info for one going to California.Last edited: Oct 12, 2014
The Challenger Thanks this. -
Just got our new dispatch. Hook a loaded trailer at the Wytheville yard and bring it to our Colton drop yard for Tuesday morning. Time to go to work, and do some training. Kellan is a stage 2, has a year under his belt, just need to get him up to speed on policies, procedures and knock some rust off.
The Challenger and Lonesome Thank this. -
Safe travels John, and good luck to Kellan in his new (renewed) ventures.

Voyager1968 Thanks this.

Good luck John. After this hometime I am telling Tim its time to Finish up with Lee. He has everything he needs skill wise. Not sure what more I can teach him other than that the Northeast stinks and its still gotta be done.

Just about to the Loves in Dickson Tn. Kellan did absolutely wonderful. I'm taking over here and will drive my full 11 hours. I'll make it to OKC then give him the truck back at daybreak in the morning.
It seems to me he paid attention when he was trained. I always asked my trainees to take notes, not pictures, he takes notes.runningman0661 and Lonesome Thank this. -
Im am going to again attempt quitting. I've told Bill no more smokers. As far as Lee not smoking, you stand a better chance training your dogs to drive!
