Finally out of the shop. Inspection is done, 2 new tires as I thought, nothing else wrong with the trailer except the left top corner. It did have a hole in it, not big, but the technician was able to see inside the trailer with a flashlight. So, after a patch job that can only be described as a hope and prayer that it will last going down the highway, I’m parked at the same Loves in Jeffersonville. I’ve driven a total of 49 miles today, spent 6 hours waiting to get into the shop, and another 1.5 hours to get everything addressed, I figure Abilene, my DM, the load planner and even the janitor got enough free work out of me today. I’ll try this again at 0500 tomorrow.

That was the guy who assured me that all Abilene drivers would soon be required to install their app, and I could expect a call from my DM about it.

This was 4 years ago. Still waiting on that phone call from my DM.

I wonder how somebody pulled that one off. Usually, hitting trees happens on the right side.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Doubt it could be blamed on a yard jockey.

Passing through Albuquerque and saw a small crowd and police on an overpass and thought an accident happened, looked again and saw a young looking guy standing on the ledge of the overpass outside the fencing, looked like a teenager. Hope they talked him out of jumping off. I maintain a habit of watching every overpass for jumpers, ppl throwing stuff or shooters.
