That’s the only state missing off my list. But just like you said, there’s not a lot of it to hit. Have a good trip!

Dropped my Jacksonville Wed. afternoon then got sent to grab a loaded trailer off the AAACooper yard around the corner to Albany P&G for a drop Thursday morning then a five below from Forsyth to Richmond so I could put the truck into shop for my seat to get fixed finally plus check engine light egr codes. All our trailers are on the Cooper yard now, gotta make the last right turn right before the gate and follow that road all the way back to get our trailers as you can’t access them from inside their yard if you go through the gate. See we got a row of them new Volvos painted grey, cheaper to have Knight color I suppose. Back has been so stiff and sore from sitting on the floor all this time. Don’t want a third back surgery so my seat is getting fixed. Got lost at P&G cause I went to the wrong gate and ended up driving on the small Marine Corps Logistics base next to the P&G but no guards, just went out the back barely making the turns to not run stuff over and drive down the middle of the skinny road out too and down to the correct entrance. Gave me the wrong address.

Picked up a load in Groveport, delivering to a Target DC in Newton, NC. Due today at 16:00.

Long around 15:00, I was 30 minutes away, when suddenly one of my trailer tires blew out. Happened just after I'd passed another truck and merged back into the right lane. Dude had no chance to avoid my shredded tire. Saw him brake and swerve a bit. Hope he's alright.

Was expecting it to be the usual long-term ordeal. Breakdown gave me an ETA of 60-90 minutes, and then it usually takes another hour to get things squared away. But lo and behold, the dude arrived around 15 minutes after I got off the phone with Breakdown, and had me up and running about 15 minutes later. Total time from blowout to being back on the road was around 1hr 10min.

Feel like I should buy a lottery ticket with that kind of luck on my side.

Arrived at the Target DC a bit after 17:00, but there was a long line of trucks and it was close on to 17:30 by the time I actually checked in at the gate. Thought they were going to turn me away, but they found some room. It's a live unload, and Target makes you drop your trailer and bobtail out. When they finish, they give you a call and you can go pick up the empty. But there's no rush. I don't have a follow-up load, so I asked 'em if I could just grab the empty in the morning. They said "Yep, that's no problem", so I'm parked bobtail at the Loves a mile away.

Wrote my truck up Friday to get seat fixed, and think the wiper motor needs replaced too and they discovered I needed a new EGR cooler and EGR valve. I was low on hours and took a 34 til Sunday. My 46th birthday was Sat. so it was nice to relax a bit. Parts were supposed to be in Monday but nothing so another day off with breakdown pay til today and Volvo said the EGR valves are on national back order so I had to move the bare necessities over to a loaner til my truck is fixed. Too bad them new volvos on the lot aren’t ready yet or Id try to get one of them to fully move into. Got sent a DSC load to Groveport, OH. New lane I guess.

Don't know if you folks know it or not, but, when you're in Richmond you can go down stairs and get a badge that will let you in all the Knight terminals.
And if you get out here to Swift in Memphis, you can get a badge made to let you in all the swift terminals, just come in the lounge to the window to the left.

Spent the night at that new Groveport warehouse we are dropping at now with them DSC loads and after dropped it went over to Springfield, OH and loaded some Volvo stuff that dropped in the Wytheville yard then Gatorade to the Richmond yard. Of course they overloaded it like they have been lately and had to go back to get it reworked. Picked up a Nestle-Purina preload from the facility off route 10 and dropped that at West-Jefferson Target this morning. Headed to Michigan to that West Rock place but couldn’t make it today. Called dispatch and will try to load tomorrow cause they said it looked like they are working tomorrow, we will see. If loaded that will go to Cawtawba NC for Monday live unload. Saw three accidents today with all the traffic, first one had I64 closed outside of Charleston and everybody detoured off exit 50 onto Rte. 25 to exit 45 and back on again. Third one involved two crotch rockets and a car, betting something stupid happened there.
