Got my reload info at 7:15 this morning. Getting loaded right now in Vero Beach headed back to the Richmond yard. Got to pick up Ken on my way up then we should be back in the yard about 2am.
All of the left over air in my system is out, I feel fine. Time to go back to work.

Driver Mike, WE had a saying in the Army.... Adversity makes us more determined to reach our objective! You're looking at it all wrong lol! Enjoy your extra time!
UTurn1, DriverMike1984 and JohnBoy Thank this. -
Sitting in Richmond, actually, at the KW dealer up the street getting an update code put in the system. The check engine light came on last week on our way into Pageland SC. I freak out when this happens. I told Joe Jr about it and he told me to run it up here. This is the first issue with the truck in almost 100,000 miles and 6 months I've had it. When I get back down to the yard I will be sitting down with safety to get Ken his own truck.

Ok, it was bound to happen again, and it has. Brian (bman20) picked up a load in Suffolk going to Salt Lake City for Friday. Team load, no team available, ask me if I would be willing to do it, Brian is willing, and so am I. My truck will be done about 5pm, he's doing some laundry, then westward ho we go.
Lonesome Thanks this. -

Let's make something perfectly clear, I'm about over this winter. I got my truck back from KW at 4pm after they replaced a knock sensor and did an update to the computer. Brian was just finished with his laundry, we loaded his stuff into my truck, hooked the trailer and was rolling at 5pm.
I started driving first. We made it to Raphine, 138 miles and stopped to eat. As soon as I got to the 81/64 split it started snowing. By the time I got to Covington it was snow packed roads. By the time I got to WVA it was a complete whiteout. Trucks were stuck climbing the hills, spun out and just a complete mess. I couldn't even find an off ramp to shut down. At midnight I finally made it to Beckley. No parking to be found, I pushed it to the next rest area then had to shut down because of a few big trucks jacknifed and spun out. At 4:45 this morning Brian took over and we left. We got to Cannonsburg Ky and fueled in -12 degree temp. My buddy Chris is up in Montana enjoying 50 degree weather. I can't even say I wan veto go home, it was 38' at the house this morning. I've been listening to m&m's wife complain about how cold it is home. Really?bigred81 Thanks this. -
