I looked at Abilene after CDL school but I was told there was six month wait for a trainer. I couldn't wait that long and went somewhere else. I guess there was a shortage of trainers back then.

I haven't driven since I graduated last July. Have not forgotten anything but I did read in this thread they do refresher training too.

Refresher Training would be for someone that has driven a truck in the past (not school) but has not worked for a few years. If you recently completed CDL School but have yet to hold a driving job, then you would be in the full training program.Rocknroller4 Thanks this.
