I was just there at that J Saturday morning. AND another strange thing for the weekend. The retired PA trooper that robbed the toll booth on the tpk at xit 180 and killed the attendant and a security guard? Yup, was there right after it happened Sunday morning. Oh, and all the snow flurries were pretty. Don't tell anyone I said that. I'll deny it. I hate snow.

I'm glad nobody was hurt in the fire, but the real tragedy was that the McDonalds and the Pilot didn't go up in smoke either.

Do any of you guys know if Abilene is flexible on the minimum 23 y/o requirement? I am 21 with just shy of 1 year TT experience and a over a year of straight truck experience prior. I'm with a small company now in which I hoped to spend many years with, however they're falling deeper and deeper into a black hole I don't wish to be apart of.

Also, how steady is their freight to support a driver who wishes to stay out weeks at a time? The other issue i'm having with my current company is they don't have the freight volume to keep me moving like I would prefer.

I can check... Are you OTR now?
    Where are you from currently?

Until I came off the road due to a family issue, they were giving me all the miles I could handle... Only had one 34 hour reset, other than being on home time, she nice I started running solo in November.

Yes im currently OTR. I live about 60 miles from Chicago but that is flexible. Ive been debating on moving back to east TN right along the 81 corridor and I know you guys run that pretty frequently.

Yes, we run I-81/40 a lot... But I doubt Chicago would be an automatical deal breaker either. But yes, being from Western North Carolina, I know Eastern Tennessee would be a beautiful place to live too and a good location for a couple of our lanes too.

Did I read correctly that they have front and driver facing cameras?
