Abilene Motor Express Being Absorbed Into Swift

Getting rid of duplication in the job sector.

 

So this along with CFI being eliminated is another step in the direction of Swift running the industry.... wonder how long till they try to buy Werner or Schneider... surely they'd want to eliminate more competition....

 

Fartland Express sucked up CFI & Millis....ruined both.

 

Yes I know I worked at CFI then I left because they started taking long runs away......

 

Well Werner is as big of a powerhouse as Swift and Heartland too....they got Baylor, ECM and Schnieder owns Cowan I believe, they bought up Watkins Shepard way back when, bought Deboer too....basically it's going to be a group of 5 or 6 big time megas, and a number of medium sized to small companies with mega capabilities running the industry.

 

Wonder where Crete fits into that?? They are debt free and don't exactly need any outside help and they have all the major lanes and customers
....

 

Right there in the mix too. They're pretty freakin big too. Van, reefer, flatbed, dedicated....they got it all, like the other aforementioned companies.
