Roehl is a long ways from a Good Company they are decent though. They do get you home when they say within 2 or 3 days of your scheduled time off. If you drive reefer you sit for days at a time in the last 2 weeks i have averaged 450 miles. No it is not because i do not want to run it is because they let all the other divisions run our freight when there is no flatbed freight or van freight so the reefer division get the short straw. So stay away from the reefers and away from ROEHL..

i stay out a flexible 11 to 18 days or so, in order to maximize the loads that i can take take and to be available for students, as i'm a trainer. because i don't need to be home on any particular calendar day or day of the week, i generally get assigned loads that take me near or through home, and don't sit very much.

in my experience, if you communicate with your fleet manager, then you can work out most anything. but honest, it's hard for them to find an exact combination of loads that will mesh with a fixed schedule, so if you always want weekends or tuesday afternoons, there will be price in miles.

I just love it when someone creates a brand new profile and their only post is a bash on a carrier or person. Interesting...

The only time I've run reefer freight is when a reefer driver needs to relay a load because they can't deliver on time. I get good miles (10,000 to 14,000) each time I'm out. I usually stay out 30-36 days at a time and am home when I say I want to be. Sure I might have to remind them I need to be home or put my foot down sometimes, but I do get home.

If you have more than 30 days invested here, I think if you're going to take your turn in "bashing" Roehl....it's easier to paint an accurate picture if you post your Roehl Scorecard.

They got me home late quite a bit. Then I would say a day earlier to get home and they'd get me early. Just couldn't win. Lol good times!
