ABS light on J1939 code

In my case(Volvo Vnl) it was abs ecu. Had to be preprogrammed with vnl

I got a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia and got a code J1939 what should I do

 

Take it to the dealer or a shop you trust. J1939 is the datalink protocol all the ECM's on the truck talk to each other with. If there's no communication to one of the modules it could be a myriad of things. Broken CAN HI/LO wire(s), ECM power/ground issue, CAN HI/LO short on the wires to the affected node, failed terminating resistor, etc.

 

One thing that you can do is use the search box in the upper right hand corner of the page. Type in "j1939" You might be suprised.

Rpm, mph, oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, boost gauges all were bouncing around and stopped working completely now while driving as well as the def gauge dropped to E blinking red but I know it’s full. Truck didn’t shut me down but then I got the red fault for CIRCUIT FAILURE. truck still fires up and it doesn’t shut me down I believe because the mechanic recently bypassed the starter interrupt relay so I have straight power to the ignition. The day before this happened I just changed out the NOX sensor inlet which cleared the fault code I had for that. But can’t seem to make sense of this one I’ve been trying everything you guys have been posting unhooked batteries and that didn’t clear anything. Currently trying to trace wires to see if I can find a bad connection but I’m out of ideas. Any help?
