Hello y’all. I have 6ABs codes it’s a Cummins IXS ENGINE 2020 kenworth t800, but u scroll through the settings and it says AA DA sensor left and rights. But I hooked up our snap on scanner turns out needed update so I called snap on and they did their thing I wanted to do the free trial of abs me unsure of which program thinning bendix it wouldn’t work so snapon did a bus test to see if she could find out what ABS system is on it and it wouldn’t even show up. So that tells me abs is not working at all with a miscommunication somewhere between. Any info is awesome thanks

Is the ABS light on? Can you hear the valves doing the self test?

If you clear the codes will the light go out? You may have to drive it for the ABS ECU to see all the sensors.

Yeah I can’t clear the codes. As I mentioned the Snapon lady said she couldn’t find out what air brake system is on it even with the bud scan. I’d click on check codes but just Cummins and j1939 plug diagnostics would appear

I just checked the truck and it doesn’t do those clicking noise of the ABS, and we’ll I hooked up the computer to another truck and all the abs diagnostics come up in what’s wrong! Ie: speed sensors. FYI this is another truck the one in having troubles with isn’t picking up anything to do with. “Brakes power unit j1708” like it porbably should be?

The ABS module is missing on the data link from the sound of it.
There should be a fuse or breaker for it in the fuse box. Kenworth's
are notorious for breakers falling out of there sockets. Make sure its in place.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I checked the fuses for ABS and they’re good. It’s only a basic Atc fuse, trailer abs has a relay and ATC but it doesn’t haul a trailer just a vac truck!

AA = auxiliary axle, DA = drive axle. Is this a tri drive? if it is the aux axle is the center and the drive is the rear axle. the dash display will show you which ABS system you have, should be Bendix might be ec-80. Just unplug the wheel speed sensor and check the resistance of the sensor ( 500-2000 ohm) and key on check the power on the truck side ( 4.7v to 5.0v) is what you want to see. wiggle test wiring to see if it changes, I have found many corroded wires that are right at the connector on the truck harness side. If the sensor is out of range just plug a new one in and clear codes and see if changes.
