So my abs is turning on while braking. Indicating its using the backup stop lamp power (pin 4) so i checked pin 7 (blue, ign pwr) and i got nothing. I cant find the fuse or relay for it. Any advise would be appreciated.

Does it stay on? Is this a new trailer for you?
My ABS light on the dash comes on for like 7 seconds when I first apply the brakes and then goes out.Only when I'm hook to my trailer. I'm told it's because my 03 pete doesn't recognize the newer ABS system on the 2013 trailer I pull. It's the only trailer I've been hooked to with it so I don't know if it would do it with an older trailer. Your truck is newer so I doubt it's the same thing. -
Any codes stored? That's where I would start.

Ill have to check the codes. But im getting 0 power to the center pin. Bendex's installation manual calls for ground brake lamp and center pin

If there is an ABS fault the ECU will disable the system and revert to normal braking until the repair is made. That's probably why you are getting zero volts. The fuse should be under the CB holder. There should be two screw in the cup holder area you have to remove to get to it. The diagram should be under the lid.

I checked every one of those fuses... Is there anothr fuse panel im unware of?
-
It's been so long since I've been in a Volvo and I believe some changes were made in 2010. There's the under the hood panel with some fuses and relays I believe on the firewall. Where are you checking for voltage at on the truck end or at the other end of the pigtail? The pigtail could be bad. If you have an ohmmeter ohm it out.
I like to think 90% of ABS problems are a bad or dirty sensor but that usually throws a solid light. -
I was testing at the connector on the cab the pigtail connects to. The light isnt solid. I honestly believe it isnt working because it isnt getting power. I searched high and low under the hood. I see nada!

Hey thanks for you help guys. Turns our ir was a really big 40 amp fuse in the corner of the fuse panel under the cb radio. Dont know how i missed it!
