Hi i have a 2006 w900l kw.
My hvac system works well but has recently started to cut out / stop blowing for a couple seconds then starts blowing again on its own. Sometimes it cuts out andon again continually for 5 or 10mins then is ok again.
It does it on warm air / cold air / ac on or off ....blower setting 1 2 or 3.
Any ideas the best thing to check 1st?
I will get the freon level checked when i get back home but it was only done a couple months ago when a new line was installed and has worked fine up until the last week or so. And i cant see any leaks anywhere
Thanks

Inspect wiring connectors at the blower and the control switch. If you find melted pins repair or place both pieces along with the blower itself. The motor is drawing excess current.
The other place to check is the 30 amp breaker going open. Check amp draw or swap the breaker for known good and see if it still trips.spsauerland, Working2party and EWV Thank this. -
On my truck it was just the blower itself going bad

Freon has absolutely nothing to do with the blower motor.
The heater uses the same blower motor.
As mentioned. Check circuit breaker. Wiring. Motor connection. Maybe it's a loose connection when you hit a bump. And blower motor.EWV Thanks this. -
New to this form trying to get some information have a 2019 western star replace the resistor on the AC blower vehicle runs fine for a couple hours cause it before sound like there was a knocking on the dash make sure there is no debris or anything no the vehicle is doing the same thing vehicle AC motor runs freely with no signs of damage could this be Could this be the AC motor

I would check the relay for the blower motor. Replace with a good one and Keep it on the low setting. Place your hand on top the blower motor and feel if it is hot. keep it on the low setting. You can do the same for the one upfront or the bunk. Place your hand on top the blower motor and fuel if it is hot . Could be tripping the relay.

Tomorrow can I message you a picture of the both relays because once I pull the motor out under the passenger seat all I see is the blower motor and resistor and there’s a fuse box on the top if you realize but I’m not sure about
