My last job had to replace the compressor on my truck every year.
He would never fix it properly so the only time pressures were good was in the summer heat. Come winter time when freon contracts. The pressure was too low. And the low pressure switch never shut it off. Come January. It would self destruct.
My last winter with him I unplugged the switch. So it wouldn't run. Once a month I would plug it in for a few minutes to keep the seals lubricated.
AC compressor engages but no cool air.
