ac compressor question!

What bearing? Clutch? Pretty sure compressor has 2 bearings. A cam and 7 valves. It’s a great design. I doubt anyone has ever rebuilt one. Get a new one. The new ones have a clutch that doesn’t lock up if the compressor fails and locks up. They came out with them about 10 years ago. I’ve heard that all Sandens are that way now. Not sure myself. Be sure to get that style. Yours is on borrowed time. My last compressor lasted almost 6 years. Can’t complain. I had one last longer once. 1 million miles. That’s rare.

i guess it would be the beaing in the clutch assembly.... not inside the compressor
