AC compressor runs in vent/floor mode

    Noticed the AC compressor on my Sterling work truck runs when the dash selector is in the vent/floor position but it does not run when in either the floor or vent position by themselves. All other positions cause the AC to run like it's supposed to. Any idea what is causing this?

    Not sure if this is normal, but probably a shorted contact pin inside the switch itself in that position.
