AC Compressor only works for a few seconds after starting the truck, then shuts off. Thought it's a bad compressor, put a new one, nothing has changed.
Freon is good, recharged, no leaks, everything is good, did it already like five times. Changed the Apad AC module, new temp sensor behind the fan blower, change high side ac sensor. Nothing helps.
It's a 2003 Volvo with older style AC control in the cab.
Where else can I look?
AC compressor wont engage

Low side pressure sensor is what kicks the compressor on.

Ive had to replace the pigtail that plugs into the pressure switch before, same issue.

Thank you, please update. Last week went to a shop and they replaced leaking AC sleeper lines, replaced filter dryer, expansion valve and heater core. Had AC for a week and it stopped working today.

Changed the low pressure sensor, compressor engaged for a minute, stopped, engaged and then stopped again. Does not want to work again.
Gotta find an AC specialist I guess. The shop I did the repairs at, don't know what can be wrong -
You could always run a toggle to the power wire on the compressor. Not ideal cause you will have to manually cycle it on and off every 15 minutes or so, but will get you ac till you can narrow down the problem.
DUNE-T Thanks this. -
Did you have a set of gauges hooked up? You might have a bit of a blockage. @QUALITYTRUCK @spsauerland may have some better ideas.
DUNE-T Thanks this.
