Not getting power to high or low pressure switches. Looked and don't have a APAD module. 1999 - 9200.
Have you pulled the seat and heater box cover off and had a look at the wiring in there? At this point I would run a new wire from the relay down under the floor and to the heater box. Even if you have to run the wire out the front of the firewall and down underneath to the switches and then up to the freeze probe, that will work too.
Yes, I have pulled the seat and cover and looked at the wires and they look good. New on/off switch and new freeze probe. The A.C. still works - just not sure if it is safe or that I might do damage. I am not getting power to the freeze probe or the high and low pressure switches. If I run a new wire from the relay, do I connect it to the top side of the freeze probe connection ?
From the ac control relay the power wire is 77H, light green wire that goes to a 6 wire connector that is probably located near the floor by the firewall area of the front corner of the cab before is goes under the floor. At this connector 77H becomes 77B and connects to 77C which goes to power the protection switches. So your new wire would connect to which ever terminal 77B is at. Polarity at the probe doesn't matter though.
Took a peak and lots of green wires going in all different directions. I feel that it is a little bit over my skill level. I do appreciate your help though. I will save this post for reference. Question : Since power is not getting to the high and low pressure switches - is it safe to use A.C. occasionally until I get it fixed in spring ? I would use the A.C. and occasionally turn it off for a little while so that it doesn't frost up
It really isn't "safe". The pressure switches are what kills power to the compressor if it gets too high or low. So you have no pressure protection. So you will run it at your own risk.
