If you are mechanically inclined just get vacuum pump and manifold from harbor freight and some cans with refrigerant from walmart. $150 all pleasure.

Is the engine fan running? A lot of money has been p i s s e d away because the condensor, CAC, radiator and or the space in between them is restricted. A good cleaner with hot water then air in both directions goes a long way then repeat. I have seen large differences even with some cores that looked good.

The engine fan was running but he said he pulled a vacuum on it and recharged it and no problem with the fan ..but he said he had high pressure so he removed the charge..

Blow air through all the lines to check for a restriction. Before you take it apart look for a frosted line. I thank those had a short flex line between the evaporator and the fiewall-expansion valve. It it is frosted up in the middle it is bad.

Fan working is good. What about AC compressor clutch. Does it disengage?
