    Right, but once they get their license, they're still in training until they complete their mileage requirement to upgrade to A seat. That's when you make your bank. So yes, you're in it for the money.

    Obviously, very few people will train out of the altruistic goodness of their heart - there is extra $$ to be made in TNT by running team.

    But a conscientious trainer WILL show their trainee the ropes on every phase of what they need to know to run Solo A-Seat.

    If your trainer is not showing you how to deal with shippers/receivers, paperwork, QC, etc. - and just uses you as a second driver, they are short-changing you, and you need to get in touch with your FM and request a new trainer. Otherwise, you're going to upgrade and not have a clue about how to run the business-side of the truck. Having this knowledge, is as important as running miles behind the wheel to get experience there.
