Was wondering if you could cut the end of the muffler on a 07 t600 and stick a flow thru in there and weld it back on or are there a bunch of baffles in the way inside there?

I heard u couldn't just as easy to buy a cheap free flow muffler!!Could go with the walker megaflows or the Donaldson muffles I heard both of them are very good and would see lots of difference!!
SHC Thanks this. -

I've heard of guys knocking them out somehow. I looked at mine when I pulled them off and thought better of it. Knocking the baffles, or cutting the welded seems and getting them out seems like a lot of wasted effort as cheaply as a set of donaldsons or walkers could be had for from practically any parts house.

I wanted to put the other muffler inside the stock one which is 13" in dia.

Can you explain if your truck is a DPF truck or not??
Are you talking of replacing the catalystic convertor or the actual mufflers??? As your truck has both.
I had a 2005 IH 9400i that only had a rear mount muffler but it was the large size like you speak of and I just got a high-flow Donaldson and had custom straps made (cost me $125 for the muffler and $75 for the straps in stainless)
