    OP, why not pursue flying as a career? You have a private license with ratings (ifr, twin, commercial etc.)? Was always my dream to be a pilot when I was young, just an fsx jockey now.

    My plan is to get into trucking, run hard for a few years and pay my house off. Then concentrate on flying.

    that's a very small lake too.. I'm still curious as to why its called a lake and why the town was named Big Bear.
