Acert bellows/expansion joints

    Oscar, I don't see any signs of leaking front or back, it is the clean side so no carbon trails, but at 1100 RPM I cant feel or hear anything, but the sound doesn't come on til a bout 1300 rpm under load only. They are cheap enough I think I'll replace and straighten it out, at least I'll know what its not.

    I'm really thinking about going all the way down to the head and doing it myself to make sure its done correctly.

    I was just doing some research on cac boots, and it looks like the red ones can withstand the most heat, rated for 500 degrees. I am thinking that one of these just might hold up in place of that expansion joint, might even wrap it with some header tape just to help keep the heat from the high pressure turbo off of it.
