ACT american central transport

Little touchy about the shop huh Kujo? I think thats funny.My exp. has taught me to stay away from terminals,period.I go by the KC yard quite a bit when I'm around there because I have a rig there to drive,and go in and say hi,wash my truck.I don't have an opinion on they're work or anything because I've never used them.

 

Yeah I'm not a big fan of theirs. I've seen worse buti still wouldn't stiffest using them if your in any kind of a hurry. I'm here now.

 

I've been changing my oil (PM) every 25k,which is only twice since I've been at ACT,but Mike turned me on to Wingfoot.With ACT's national acct. with them we can get a PM done for 209.00,and thats cheap.You usually get what you pay for though and I stay right there with my truck and make sure they do everything right.Their tech's don't seem to be real experianced,but that's cool as long as you watch them.

 

Yeah I was told the same. Considering the price it's worth it although I'd probably pull it out and double check that everything is tightened back up myself just to be safe. I had a petro leave a oil filter loose once and that was a pain so I've carried a oil filter wrench and basic tools with me every since.

 

Did they get you with the we need it for a dedicated run excuse? If so tell them you want to be planned because I know a guy they did that to then told him no load til next day.

 

I have heard that one before too. One of the Chicago guys needed it. So, I dropped it in KC.
