    There's the problem...RAZR :biggrin_25523:

Had two RAZR and motorola sucks overall, they went down hill. They kept breaking, went to a blackberry and that was okay, iphone then droid/droid x2 and now back to iphone... Nothing compares to a jailbroken iphone. :biggrin_255:

Well for starters I'm counting gross to gross second I don't need insurance I'm already covered elsewhere and I use a ira private no company donation there. So yes if you need someone to hold your hand in every aspect of your life stay a company driver. Bit wether it's buying a truck our leasing it you loose all those things. Black lions I'll post all my statements tomorrow when I'm at a computer.

What you fail to consider is that the man is paying off a late model truck that will be his in 46 months.Thats alot better investment than some chicken crap 401k that might make you 2 or 3k in those same 46 months.I guess I will never understand why some people hate other people that are trying to improve themselves. There's guy's on this site that have lease's thru other company's that the terms are not as good but they still succeed, pay they're trucks off and go on to bigger and better things, despite all the riddicule from people such as yourself.

Me,I like to see people succeed,no matter what their circumstance's are.90 out of 100 resturant's that are opened fail. Why don't you hater's go there and rail against them to remain waiter's and cook's and never try to SUCCEED!

Health insurance from another source, hand holding hum ....

My source is blue cross for $1200 a month. If you had to buy
health ins from the truck income you might look at things
    differently.

Very true I'm a lucky one my wifes work covers our whole family at no cost to us. But if I'm not mistaken the group plan at ACT is open to the lease guys as well although I don't know the cost I haven't looked at it for obvious reasons.

I was working and my premium costs were about $120/month for everything (medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, etc.). The employer paid the other half. That was top-notch coverage just for myself, too. When my employment ended, BCBS wanted about $436/month to continue just the medical coverage. Somehow, they justified trying to charge me double. Insurance companies are con artists. When you try to use it, you can be assured they will do their best to selectively not pay bills. They are as seedy as the ones trying to sell you extended warranties...and car salesmen!

FYI, I am choosing company driver because I don't plan on driving a truck in four years from now. Secondly, I can use the insurance also. Thirdly, I don't trust 401K, IRA managers, Bernie Madoff (none of those people) with my money. I prefer to actively trade on my own. Frankly, I can outperform their return rates by far...and the income money put into it has already been taxed. As you can see, it isn't all about "hand holding".

BTW...I know you use IRA but in a 401K, you have to pay taxes on the money one way or another...and if you withdraw early, you pay taxes plus a 10% penalty.

Different people have different needs is what it comes down to. What is satisfactory and works for you doesn't necessarily work for everyone else.

We have no yard in the Chicago area. We have the terminal in KC and then use drop yards in E St Louis,Il, Columbus,Oh and Olive Branch,Ms. Those are the only ones I know of.
