    At 8.5 you gotta be running right .. 58-61 mpg for sure to get that result

    The air tabs will get you about 1/10 for roughly a 260.00 investment

    Fleet 1 air filter @ $339.00 to get around 4/10 is your best option

    Pittsburgh power muffler @ 175.00 to get 2/10

    I recaint something I said

    I had no idea the OP is getting a recruiting bonus off his statement of almost 20 drivers in which only 3 left the company ... If he gets 0.02 off that alnne is 0.36 in profits for the OP ... But I'm assuming the recruiting bonus per mile ... I don't know the true numbers ...

    I get $300 the week they complete orientation then I get an extra .04 per mile on my pay for 90 days for each one. This week I had 2 in orientation for a total of 10 on my check. This week I am making $1.87 a mile plus the extra $600. I have right around 3200 miles this week. My check should be about $3500 this week.

    Break it down cause 1.87 is pretty dang good for all miles

    Our rate with hazmat endorsement is $1.00 a mile loaded and .90 a mile empty plus fuel surcharge on all miles of .47 a mile this week. I have 10 recruits at .04 each so .40 a mile. $1.47 plus .40 is $1.87 or $1.77 empty.

    Don't waste your breath. Don't waste your time. He seems to do well with recruiting. Others from ACT LP program do a bit better than average NOT COUNTING RECRUITING BONUSES but nothing near what the miracle truck makes.

    New plenty of guys at CRE that made sure they got to as many recruiting events as possible with all number broken out to tell people how well they could do. They too made great money off recruiting. I guess if we follow his method then I grossed $20k this past week on 2000 miles.

    Oh, forgot to mention I have 5 trucks running for me.

    Hey Bill maybe it isn't a miracle truck maybe I just know how to drive. You were trained by CR England after all and we all know the quality of drivers they turn out. Maybe you will figure it out one of these days with a little more experience. Low rpm's with progressive shifting and no jack rabbit starts and driving slow gets results there buddy. Maybe you should practice it. Like I said I can show you my numbers but again you ignored the offer. I think you just like to criticize people but don't want to be proven wrong.

    If we get that contract Bill I should be home every night and real weekends for a little while anyways. Will clear $3,000 to the truck after fuel on 1,760 miles, half of those miles being empty, although as you know, there's other expenses too... So who needs to be getting business advice from who in that situation?

    That 1.87-1.77 sounds good but what is your net after expenses with no recruits ?

    I'm not being hateful either just curious of the following

    Truck payment weekly
    Plate weekly
    HHG or Practical
    Qualcomm Charges
    Maint Fees
    Payroll fees

    My miles are hub miles, not stretchy fantasy miles. The loaded mile rate $5.27 didn't recruit anyone other than a direct customer
